Background

Kjersti Brähler, or Chérie Elouise when she paints, was born in 1992 and is a self-taught artist and teacher with a master's degree in special needs education.

Work​

In October 2023, her eyes were opened in regards to the history of Palestine, and she felt a strong urge to use her art to show solidarity with the Palestinian people and shed light on their reality. This resulted in a portrait series, Honoring Souls of Palestine. The portraits were displayed at Fyllingsdalen Theater during a support concert they organized for Palestine in 2024, as well as at Laksevåg Library in 2024 and 2025.

She uses her art to raise awareness on matters close to her heart, but also to express joy, love and curiosity.

Elouise works with a variety of mediums, ans is currently focused on acrylics and digital drawing.
